PADI IDC The Gili Islands | The Heart of Career Development

The Gili Career Development Center - PADI IDC

The first PADI Instructor Development Course of 2014 will commence on January 17th in the Gili Islands, Indonesia at Trawangan Dive; the only PADI Career Development  Center in the Gili Islands.

The PADI Instructor Development Course here at Trawangan Dive is priced at 950 Euro, which includes the 10 day course, pre-IDC study and the EFRI course. The course covers the complete PADI IDC syllabus plus some extra additional useful course content which has been added by the Course Director based on here experience within industry.

We operate alongside two of Indonesia’s largest dive centers offering a range of team teaching and internship options. In fact the Blue Marlin group currently operates 5 dive centers across the Gili Islands and Komodo National Park and is always looking at new expansion opportunities. So in respect of Industry experience and career opportunity we are certainly at the top of the ladder, particularly when it comes to Indonesia.

Most of our previous candidates can be found working in the Gili Islands and beyond. To see how previous students got on during their PADI Instructor Development Course and possibly see where they decided to work just visit our PADI IDC Gili Islands Facebook page.

As well as offering the IDC and EFRI package, we currently offer the complete range of instructor continuing education options, including the full range of instructor specialties. All information on these courses can be found on our PADI IDC Gili Islands website.

Although we work in conjunction with two of the larges 5 star IDC Centers in Indonesia, we have chosen to operate the PADI Instructor Training through Trawangan Dive, which is also a PADI Career Development Center (CDC), a 100% Project AWARE Partner and a Coral Reef Restoration Center. The other 5 Star centers concentrates more on technical diving, offering everything from tech try dives to Rebreather Instructor Courses.

The full PADI IDC Course can be seen on our PADI IDC GiliIslands Video and during 2014 we plan to combine the IDC course with a range of technical, environmental and liveaboard options. Of course we can already offer these course combinations but it will obviously take a while to implement the exact course structure. so if you’re looking to combine your PADI IDC with an environmental program, or wish to combine it with a range of technical courses or if you wish to shadow the Cruise Director on our Exclusive Komodo Livaboard as a possible combination than contact our PADI Course Director for more information.
We can also be contacted through our PADI Career Development Website.
